End-to-end product engineering at Mapular
I work end to end across product management, development, and engineering.
I'm from Belgium, lived in Venezuela and Nigeria, and moved to Berlin in 2024.
I want to launch startups that make a social impact—climate change, inequality, that sort of thing. I ran a 5-person non-profit for 4-5 years and loved it, but we didn’t scale before I burned out.
I chase skills that excite me. Took a marketing job with zero experience just to learn. Following what gives me energy, not rigid plans. Right now, that’s agentic engineering and going 10x on everything I'm experienced at already.
With years of being a generalist, building my own agentic systems has been a blast.
I work late so I can take a long lunch for my workout.
Transparency is my top value.

Engineered growth in monthly revenue from 4 to 6 figures in 3.5 years through data-driven experiments, marketing automation, custom data pipelines and server-side tracking.
Ex-Founder Humainly·Hasselt, Belgium·2015 - 2020
Launched startup Humainly providing digital jobs and education in low-income regions alongside a Computer Vision consulting service.
Data Scientist WebMonks·Hasselt, Belgium·2015 - 2017
Computer Vision consulting and managing research projects for clients as a service parallel to Humainly at WebMonks.
Data Scientist KULeuven·Leuven, Belgium·2012 - 2014
Developed algorithms for medical image processing which I open-sourced as the MeshMonk library, used or cited in 140+ research projects.
Agentic Engineer Mapular·Berlin, Germany·July 2025 - ...
Shifted Mapular from using LLMs as a chat tool to fully integrated agentic workflows, embedding agents across product, engineering, sales, and marketing instead of treating AI as a side conversation.
Data Scientist KULeuven·Leuven, Belgium·2017
Developed and open-sourced MeshMonk in C++, a high-performance medical image processing library used or cited in 140+ research projects.
Ex-Founder Humainly·Hasselt, Belgium·2015 - 2020
Scaled Humainly - a non-profit yet self-sustainable business - to support 30 people in Venezuela and Nigeria, providing living wages and professional training through local NGO partnerships.
Growth Engineer Moonbird·Antwerp, Belgium·2020 - 2024
Drove data-driven decision-making at eComm startup with a bespoke ELT pipeline, advanced server-side tracking, and self-developed Bayesian Marketing Mix Model.
Web Developer Autodidactic·Antwerp, Belgium·2022 - ...
Built several web apps and APIs while learning Async, CI/CD, Django, Docker, Mongo, Postgres, Pydantic, Tailwind and more.
Data Scientist KULeuven·Leuven, Belgium·2007 - 2012
Specialized in signal processing, with a focus on algorithms for medical image and 3D mesh processing.
I build and own my agent harness: the prompts, tools, context routing, and review loops that turn an LLM into a system that does real work, unattended.
The whole system runs: /factory.
I architect agent work so state lives in the substrate, not the agent. Each orchestrator reads a graph of goals, makes one move, writes its decision back, and dies, so any agent can crash and the work picks up where it left off.
The work loop behind /factory, including a planner that proposes the next move.
I run agents unattended by putting hard limits around them: containerized execution, every shell command checked before it runs, and credentials the agent never holds directly.
Open source: rip-cage.
Beyond tooling my own workflow, I build agentic apps: LLM calls wrapped in tools, structured output, and guardrails meant to hold up in production.
I build full-stack web apps across backend, frontend, and the data layer behind them. I default to hypermedia-driven apps: server-rendered HTML with focused interactivity and little client-side state. I build with React too, but reach for it when an app genuinely needs a rich client.
Why hypermedia-driven: htmx.org/essays/hypermedia-driven-applications.
I build APIs, containerize apps, and deploy them with practical CI/CD.
I instrument product and marketing data so teams can trust what they measure.
I use Bayesian modelling when signals are noisy and decisions still need to be made.
Built a Bayesian MMM at Moonbird.
I worked on medical image processing, 3D meshes, and computer vision systems.
Created MeshMonk; used or cited in 140+ research projects.
I build ELT pipelines that turn source data into models, dashboards, and decisions.
Built the Moonbird pipeline behind growth reporting and modelling.
I combine acquisition, experiments, automation, and measurement into one growth loop.
At Moonbird, grew monthly revenue from four to six figures in 3.5 years.
I preserve attribution signal by sending conversion events from the backend.
Built and maintained server-side tracking for Moonbird's ad stack.
I model channel contribution when last-click attribution is too noisy to trust.
Used at Moonbird to guide marketing budget allocation.
I founded and ran an impact-first organization focused on digital jobs and training.
Humainly supported 30 people through NGO partnerships in Venezuela and Nigeria.
I ran small international teams with explicit roles and distributed authority.
Humainly operated across Belgium, Venezuela, and Nigeria.
Humainly did not scale before founder burnout; that changed how I think about pace and sustainability.
The mission worked; the growth rate and operating model did not.
